Saltwater
A fictional sample book. Contemporary romance.
Saltwater Letters
June found the letters inside the biscuit tin, underneath a recipe for a cake nobody in the family had ever managed to make.
There were twelve of them, tied with red thread. The first began Dear You. The last was still sealed. Outside, the café sign creaked in the salt wind, waiting for her to decide what sort of beginning this was going to be.
About the story
While reopening her grandmother’s seaside café, June finds a bundle of letters addressed to a man who never came back. Delivering them brings an old summer, and an unexpected second chance, to her own door.
A warm romance about starting again, saying the thing you meant to say, and making room at the table.
